Al Saad area witnessed a bizarre accident last Thursday when a motorist drove his car into the façade of the La Cigale Hotel. "The accident took place at 7 in the evening," said Husni El Yaman, Deputy Director Sales and Marketing, La Cigale. "The Toyota FJ Cruiser came in till almost the middle of the main restaurant of the hotel, shattering the glasses. Tables and display screens were destroyed," he said. The police are investigating into the cause of the accident. "The loss we incurred has not been calculated, though every thing was fixed that night itself. The insurance officials visited and they are waiting for the police report. No injury or life loss was reported.
