for a start, the largest passenger plane is the airbus 380, and the first one was only recently delivered to singapore airlines. the 340 has been in service for many years, so many pilots are familiar with it.

and as stated by well i never, no pilot touches any modern day airliner without being fully trained and familiar with every aspect of it.

this story is pretty ridiculous.
