I was appalled at this and actually wrote to a couple of newspapers..

Thankfully, this hotel has been shamed and perhaps others will now think twice about doing similar things..

I find it very strange the contrast between the way we treat our soldiers and the way Americans do. I think the Americans sometimes go a bit over the top, but at least they honour their servicemen and show pride in their armed forces.
