You did read the link, but did you notice that the nature of the disease supposedly imported by the Romans was not specified? What exactly does 'education' have to do with my opinion? 'Education' in most of it's forms is simply indoctrination, a means to implant particular beliefs in the minds of children and the gullible. Many adults (but not all!) recognise this as they gain life experience, and the more intelligent ones are able to put irrelevant elements of their 'education' firmly behind them. Apparently you have not reached this stage yet.
