Malaysia has a lot to offer, depends on how much time you have and preference. My favourite picks
1. Dive at Sipadan Island (Sabah Malaysia)
This little island has one of the best dive sites in the world. Stay at the nearby Mabul Island.
Direction: Fly to Tawau from KL by Air Asia, then take taxi to Semporna. Accommodation and packages are plenty at Semporna.
2. Langkawi Island
This is one of the most visited Island in Malaysia. World Class beaches, lots of shopping. Its a duty free island by the way. Many activities pretty well developed.
3. Kuala Lumpur / Putrajaya / Genting Highlands / Melaka
For city experience you may spend 4/5 days in KL, take a day tour to Putrajaya (the Administrative Centre) and to Genting Highlands for some theme parks and casino. Head south to the historic city of Malacca
4. Taman Negara Pahang (National Parks)
The oldest rainforest in the world, just few hours from KL. Many activities, has lots of flora and faunas
5. Gunung Mulu National Parks, Sarawak
Visit the largest / longest cave chambers in the world.
Malaysia has many other attractions, It is one of the most visited countries in the world. Travelling is very easy and it is one of the cheapest too.
