She understood my concerns as in Oz children under the age of 5 they will only be done under a GA, which I would prefer as it's less traumatic for them, but she starts out with a simple procedure to get them used to visiting the dentists and starts to slowly step it up from there, if the child shows signs that it wont cope with the major work such as a big filling then she will suggest Twilight Sedation or a GA..
