Doctora - if you've never been cut up on a roundabout by a Qatari then you've been very lucky. I've been cut up by pretty much every nationality you could imagine.
I still don't agree with roundabouts only being suitable for small volumes of traffic. Interchanges would be better here, but I'm sure you'd see a marked improvement here if everyone in Qatar was taught how to use a roundabout properly; get in lane before arriving there, drift out to your exit, and don't enter the roundabout if traffic's coming round (my pet hate is people who enter the roundabout in the outside lane as you're coming round in the middle lane - how are you supposed to drift and exit then!)
