my wife and i have lived in many countries, and this is not the first muslim one either.
the nicest qataris we have met are older men, probably over 50, who spent some years living and working abroad. these gentlemen were down to earth, nice, and clearly had to work for a living, as opposed to many of the younger ones.
there are many qataris who won't give us the time of day (which has never happened in any other place we have lived in), so for them to sit back and claim that expats are racist, or whatever, does not wash with me.
