I was talking (surprise surprise) with a lady (another surprise...) down at the pool recently who told me of a young Qatari lady (student..) she knows who has in excess of 1,000 (yes, I did mean ONE THOUSAND) pairs...
Apparently each pair still in its box, with a photo of what the shoes look like on the end of the box, also all on her computer so she can decide just WHICH pair she'll wear at any given moment....& of course when you have 1,000 you don't stop there right??!!
Probably 1,100 now.....
So what's the average price of a pair that a Qatari lady might buy...., the mind boggles as to the value of that little lot...!!!
