The simple fact is that in general "Birds of a feather, flock together".. I used to work on a Naval base... Mainly Americans , Ausralians and Brits.. Within the yanks, it was common for the Black guys to "hang out together".. Even within the Filipinos, the uys from Sebu and those from Manila did no really mix..
Expatriate life is extremely strange.. You re "thrown" together and expected to get on with each other..
I take th same approach as Abu American, but most people like to stick with their own because of the comfort level/
