Wonderful... it would be really good to know exactly he got into a situation where he owed so much money.

I am sure there are others who could easily slide into this situation and need access to information etc to be able to look after themselves or be able to access professionals who could advise.....

In the UK we have Citizens Advice Bureau...sounds like we could do with one here...
prevention is better than cure...
