to open the same thread just yesterday but you were first Owen. Well, the idea behind having this questions and answers is to build a quick knowledge database where you can find out the answers to your queries without looking for threads.
The problem with the threads is sometimes you will get lost in between, looking for the right answer because of the hijacking to most threads after the query was answered. Some will give funny answers as well and the one looking for help will get confused if they are serious about that answer or just kidding.
If everyone just looked at the top of the page before answering a query, they will not post those answers that are not related to the question.
In the end it is a matter of the Question itself and the Answer. If you find a silly question then just ignore it, maybe this person posted by mistake the question in the wrong place. If you find the question silly, don't repeat the mistake of the one posted the question and give silly answers as well.
Do not dwell in the past, do not dream of the future, concentrate the mind on the present moment. (Gautama Buddha)
