If you read my post correctly you will relise I did not say it does not come into play, I stated that it was not simply just directed towards islam but encompassed all religious clothing and artifacts. to simply say it was against islam is false thats all, and if you are going to use a case such as the one in France don't make it out as if islam is the only religion affected.
