I think the problem here is that there is no education about being Gay, for the most part the religion preaches against it so those that are, are still very much in the closet and can't come out. Having done most of my adult growing up in the "Gay Capital of the Southern Hemisphere" I think nothing of it i have seen my gay friends fall in and out of love, seen most make a life commitment to their partner, even seen some who go onto have children with surrogate mothers or sperm donors and I have learn't one very important thing the only difference in their relationships compared to that of a hetro couple is NIL. For the most part their relationships are stronger as they have to go through so much just to be together and to have a child together, most of their children are teenagers now and have lived all their lives knowing who their parents are. In fact I've seen more hetro couples get divorced that were supposed to soulmates, made for each other BLah Blah Blah yet still my gay friends who are married are still together. So tell me again why Gays getting married should be any different from a hetro couple.
