The few Qataris that I do know are wonderful people, and extremely hospitable. Perhaps, I know them because they are more open to meeting new people than the average qatari, but I've had many more positve experiences than negative. I've also had plenty of experiences in the desert with complete strangers who went WAY out of the way to help. All the negative experiences I have here are with foreigners!
