I know the island in the very north of Qatar as Ras Rakkan. Go up shamal road turn right at last RA go straight at next RA onto dirt track - old abandoned house sand coloured about 1km away on the beach directly over the water is Ras Rakkan - low tide crossing is possible but it is a few kilometers walk... good luck
