Lal, then that means that you'd only need to pay for food, correct? That's not bad at all since all you'll have to pay for is food. I'm not sure how well in earn back home, but if you convert this means R30,000 tax free. Can you survive with that amount? Things are a bit more expensive here, but only if you're not used to Woolies ; )
Retaurant bills are quite high if you go to hotels (the only place where u can get alcohol with your meal) but can be very cheap if you go to some cheaper restaurants.
Booze is quite expensive here, like R12 (or QR6) for a beer at QDC (the only place where you can buy alcohol from and you need a permit for that).
