missed this thread last night but am in total and utter agreement with you, why should a woman be put through such a humiliating test of her virginity when for a man we just have to take their word.
It's not religious, it isn't Gods will it is just downright male cheuvanism!!!!
Just another example of the way women are treated differently, begs the question, will we ever become equal??
