I have been an expat for many many years.. Looking back; although I have earned a lot of money, I have also spent a lot. In many cases, those friends I left behind in my home country are better off financially and also have families around them. I go home once/twice a year and see that the nieces/nephews have grown up and they don't really relate to me.

At the end of the day... the choice is ours..
