Freedom of speech is a common mantra here that is often used as a defense when someone is taken to task for launching a personal attack against someone else. I disagree with that. I believe whole heartedly with freedom of speech but with that comes responsibility to treat others how we ourselves want to be treated. Just because you have the right to say something, doesn't mean you should. What is that saying - discretion is the better part of valor.
