Ok. Ok.

With the risk of having my favourite fishing spot crowded everytime I go there with QL members I will share, just because I know how it feels not having the good-spots knowledge in a new location that you've just mooved into.

Drive to Al Khor.
Go inside the city, at the roundabout at corniche go straight. Next roundabout, go straight.
Badeeen, pass by the Al khor comunity (it will be on your right), take the immediate turn right after that and drive straight.

After about 5 km take a turn to the left and drive straight for about 1.5 km, after take a turn to the right and stop after 900m. You will see:

- the sea in front of you
- and a house/settlement on your left.

Now, take the tarmac road behind the house and you will reach a deserted dhow that is raised on some wood pylons.

You now have in front of you the sea again and a land strip that goes inside the sea for about 300m.

The car can enter only 100m (the strip gets thin)
Leave the car there and take all your gear ... stop somwhere close to the tip and enjoy. :)

And as an extra bonus tip, cast your line on the southern side of the strip. there are more fish and smaller waves than on the other side.

In September you will see large kingfish (1 m) jumping out of the water for smaller fish banks. It's amaizing !
Don't get all excited, you need a boat to catch that fishes.

Now, I hope i will still have my 4 sqm of space when i will go there this Friday :)

Waiting for you post-fishing comments and pics.:)

P.S. - and yes, it's better early morning.
for a fisherman, morning is casting the line at 4 AM
