No..Way Dear. I think Seasons works for a bank. I work for the Legal department in a bank here and we knows the trouble to get people who escaped from here with out paying their dues. Dubai is no different either. But, I would say if you can pay...then pay. it is more of a moral issue and I don't know what situation you had to live Dubai because the whole state was going through a rough patch in the last 3 to 4 years. I also had some people I knew who settled their dues while they were in Dubai by taking minimal jail time to clear their dues and they were scotfree to obtain another visa in the same country. I am talking about people who just took jail time of less than 2 months for amounts more than 4 to 7 millions. The courts didn't have choices. we had classes about avoiding such situations not happening in Qatar because may be 4 years before banks were selling Credit cards and loans in Dubai like they were selling something in an Hypermarket and suddenly the financial crisis hit them. So it's your choice...Do what is right.
