I would guess you are not trying for Indian schools since you are from Jordan. Admissions for all Indian schools were closed since Jan 2013. I would assume the case is the same for all other schools.
The demand for school admissions has been very high this year especially for the Kindergarten. The number of schools at present are not enough to meet the demand.
Unless you know someone working in a certain school admission these days is very difficult.
The best suggestion I can give from my experience is try to get admission in a Kindergarten first for KG2 and be prepared for admission to Class-1 as an early bird.
