I understand what you are saying - But as far as I am aware the MoS Event Publicity was released first. All the DJ's apart from the headliner at MoS have played in Doha several times before at various events.

As for the 1 mn in Qatar most of those people do not have the disposable income or interest in these type of events. It usually is the same faces seen at such events.

Many of the Hotels including the 5*, are run as franchises of the name. The entertainment is run like any bar or club nothing to do with worldwide reputation of the hotel chain. As here it is really the only place to have such events as there are not the stand alone bars and clubs. The only one Amigos was closed down many years ago.

I am not disputing that the Beach Party will be great fun - but after being in Qatar for 10 years I always will support the companies that are trying to bring something new here.

I hope you enjoy the Beach Party, I will enjoy the MoS event - maybe after the events we can discuss the + and -aspects of each.
