My name is Jessica Russell, I am 22 yrs old and I live in Essex, England. I will be completing my degree in Early Years education at the end of May and I will be looking for full time work as a nanny overseas. I have lots of experience working with children from newborn - 7 years. I have carried out a work placement in an infant school with high numbers of EAL and SEN children for the last 3 years which was a very challenging but rewarding experience. I have a son named Louis who will be four on the 29th May, he certainly knows how to keep me in my toes and I feel that raising him single handily has made me a strong enough person to overcome any situation. Louis will be of school age in September and I think he will benefit hugely from experiencing living in another country and i would love for him to pick up another language. I am aware that having a dependant child may put some families off, but I am hoping I will find a family that will see this as more of a bonus. During my school placement I would often teach 10 children at a time so I am more than capable of providing an excellent level of care for multiple children. I understand as a parent the anxieties that come with leaving a young child with a 'stranger' but I am sure that my warm and caring nature will assure you that your child/children will be in very good hands.
