If the NOC is acceptable to the MoI, there should be no problem in changing sponsor. The six months stipulation IMHO is a guideline, not a RULE. Also, MoI will only look at your salary at the time when you apply for a family RP. CAUTION: Since your family is already here, WHEN YOUR PRESENT RP IS CANCELLED, THEIR RP's TOO ARE CANCELLED. If your family is still here (under the six-month rule), they would technically be illegals here. Suggest you send them home from 'your RP is cancelled' to 'your new RP is issued'. Then you can apply for their RPs and after that they can return. Your wife may get a loss of pay leave for the period when you are processing your own papers.
