Sheikh Joa'an bin Hamad is the Emir's son.

The other wedding was for Sheikh Jassim bin Khalifa who is the younger brother of Sheikh Hamad.

Bin Hamad means son of Hamad and bin Khalifa means son of Khalifa (Sheikh Khalifa was the previous Emir).

So Sheikh Joa'an and his uncle got married this weekend.
