Did you apply for a job and did you have an interview? If the answer is no and the offer is out of nowhere, then it probably isn't a true one. Are they asking for money for visas? Probably isn't a true one.

If it sounds too good to be true (and you never applied for it or had an interview or they are asking for $$ up front) it probably is.
