personally I'm glad he got 10 days.

I think that gets the message across that whatever his intentions were it is not acceptable to harass people.

Who knows he could be a bit crazy and this would give him ample time to understand it is wrong. much like punishing a kid.

or perhaps he meant to harm her for some reason and this has made him rethink his decision.
