Perhaps we have a creative tax person in the US, but he maintains that since we cannot send our children to a local public school (they don't speak the language), then the American school tuition is tax free. If we lived stateside, we could send them to a public school for free, but as that's not the case here, then the American School of Doha is considered a substitute. Obviously, we're going with that....
