under qatari labor law, any employee working more than a year is entitled to an end-of-service benefit equal to 3 weeks wages (at current rate) for each year the person worked.  so you friend should get 6 weeks wages.

unless there is something else specified in his contract, i think that would be it.

the labor law is online - tell your friend to google it to check the whole thing.
