First, a US friend of mine is asking me about this so I am helping a friend

2nd of all US is the ONLY country in the world that taxes based on passport not residency.  For the good of US Citizens and to make them more competitive they need to change that.  Otherwise,  Europeans take all the jobs due to tax disadvantage of Americans.
