Usually companies ask for your certificate copy during interviews. but after selection they will give you appointment letter and ask you to submit certificataes and the degree certificate must be attested for verfication purpose.
Private sector & Government Sector have their own proceedures for the same. better to be ready with attestation from the native countries to avoid delays in joining.
