I have lost trust in people, but I still love them.  I would not be honest with myself if I did not forgive.  I expect forgiveness and understanding, and likewise I do the same. Trust comes in all shapes and sizes.  Love in one!

Unconditional Love Is An Oddity  (and often misunderstood)
