This had happened to us before. Please have your friend check the Tariff his consumption is being multiplied for (see FIRST LIMIT row on billing statement). Residential Tariffs should only be 4.4 and 0.08 for Water and Electricity respectively. If other than these, have him go to any Kahramaa office to have it changed. Once done, all those that he had previously paid in excess will be deducted to his succeeding bills until they even out.
