From the moment I met him I knew he was the one. His pictured did not befit him but his eyes shone of substance and piety. Like the wind that strongly blows your hair but gently keeps you steady on a path to enlightenment. His words spoken from his heart infiltrated something inside me I never knew existed. The beard he wore due to his humble belief showed me that hijab is not only for women. The books sent to me that enlightened my mind more than any other had before. And the telephone conversations where we argued over women rights were never too much to bear. And with all my faults that he accepted and all his fault that I accepted we knew without a doubt we were meant to be.

I could say that all these things are the best about my husband but the truth is his sincerety, honesty, and being able to trust him to make the right choices in consideration of those around him are the most attractive characteristics found in the world.
