As already mentioned if your salary is above 7k and you are provided with accommodation or housing allowance, then RP for family should not be a problem. However make sure your title is as per your qualifications. Changing it later is a hassel.
When applying for RP you will be asked to produce your qualification certificates and 6 months bank statement along with a letter from your company stating your job title and complete salary package. So that means you will still have to wait 6 months before applying for RP.
Before you had to wait 6 months before applying for RP but now you can get it done in 3 months. They still expect 6 months bank statement coz they are so smart anyways. Also you will need to have a Qatari ID so until you have everything in order its a long lonely wait :P
