You submitted the documents to the company on Aug 18, it doesn't mean they are gone directly to immigration! Add couple of days for preparing application, another couple of day for delaying due to "bukra, insha'allah".. Then from Aug 25 immigration is basically didnt process any applications, as most of the staff was already on holiday. Immigration resumed their work only yesterday. No one even business visa was processed during last 10-12 days, unless some urgent cases, let alone a work visa...
