I agree with that too OH MY! We shouldn't blindly follow! And I am the first to admit if something has substantial evidence..

I read a few books about this when I practically left Islam a few years ago. (partly due to such books)..

And then I realized that they did not have as much evidence as they claim either! And found other western scholars who were not in agreement.

Don't ask me to do it again! It nearly broke my heart last time!
