I had the same problem. What they tell you is a lie.

I talked to a manager at qtel and he told me "dont worry, just pay Qr320 each month, they only charge the first two months in advance" End of month one I payd Qr320, and a few days later my line was cut!

Phoned customer service and they told me my account is in arears! As with any Q company here, you have no choice but to pay it, and talking sense to them doesnt help.

Pay what you are billed otherwise they will cut the line, and even if you refuse to pay they will keep charging you the Qr320 every month, on top of the "arrears"

My advise is dont even bother speaking to q-tel, you wont get it sorted out. As with everything here, just suck it up and pay it - unfortuanatly :(
