Yes, a person having valid RP in qatar cannot stay out of the country for more than 6 months. That is, your wife needs to visit qatar for atleast one time for a period of atleast a day or two within 6 months from the date of exit from qatar. Otherwise, you will have to pay penalty fees of QAR 500/-.
