This sounds like a Hydrocele...which,as you say,is fluid around the testicle.I have seen quite a few in my career as a nurse.Please get an appointment with a genitourinary doctor.If left untreated,they can reach enormous sizes,though not in every case.It is very unlikely to disappear on it's own.
