Are these effects travelling withh you on the same flight and you will be retrieving them in the baggage hall?  If so, no need for an agent.  Even if they're coming cargo, you don't need an agent, you go to the cargo office present your paperwork for the shipment, they inspect (or not) and you retrieve your stuff.
