from what i know that as long as you enter the country before your residency expires it is okay..as long as you are going to your hometown it is okay.. but if you are entering another gulf country u've got to have 6 months in your residency .. of course it is better if you check in the airport to be 100% sure before u leave.. enjoy your vacation ..
