Multiple car crash disrupts traffic

AN accident involving three vehicles disrupted traffic for almost an hour at the Gulf Street in Doha yesterday.
Three motorists, including one with critical injuries, were taken to the hospital, police said.
The road is an important connection from the Corniche to the main market areas and has Jaidah fly-over and Mannai underpass at its either ends.
The incident took place around 5.30pm, according to eye witnesses.
One of the vehicles involved, a Mercedes station wagon, hit a coffee shop’s air-conditioning system and slightly grazed the glass door.
The speed limit on the road is 60kmph.
