Jewish settlers started arriving in Palestine after WWII as a consequence of Hitler's final solution.  Had it not been for that, there is the very real possibility that Israel as it is would not exist.

If you don't believe in the holocaust then what caused the migration of Jews to Palestine in 1944 and beyond?
