I wish I could answer this question. It's got to do with a number of factors - visa allocation to the company, skills, nationality are just a few.

It's really painful to be expecting the visa to arrive soon and it takes forever. Worse still, there is no one to contact for a reliable answer.

My wife had the same problem and I had to bring her on my sponsorship eventually.
