Can she practice the route she needs to travel on Friday mornings early for a while? It's difficult to concentrate on other drivers (especially the aggressive ones) and on where she needs to be at any given time in regular traffic.
Alternatively, can she car pool with someone who lives and works near to her workplace/home? Sharing a drive would be easier on her nerves (she could offer to pay some kind of fee - that might actually be cheaper than getting a car for her)
