Well, Dweller, my view on hitting anyone regardless of their age (ie newborn to elderly) is well documented on a couple of threads on QL!  No-one likes to be hit as a form of behaviour modification so why on earth would anyone hit anyone.  It baffles me that people actually argue the case for hitting people (children are little people).
