Seems like this was the only thing he "exagerrated", but I did impart the seriousness of falsying a CV to him....he got scared and hopefully got the point.
But as you said there are other factors to consider, and knowing what I know about his family situation, I wasn't goint to try and get him fired
It all worked out in the end.
